At our core we are a Chinese Medicine informational website. We are also working towards building and supporting the larger Chinese Medicine community. In addition to freely sharing a broad array of foundational and modern Chinese Medicine theories, research and applications, we aim to connect Chinese Medicine practitioners with each other along with their respective schools and state associations.

Yin Intersection (CV7)

• This point is not used very often clinically, although its connections with the Chong, CV & KD meridians make it useful for Uterine and menstrual issues and running piglet disorder (similar to panic attacks).
• Abdominal pain, bloating, edema, hernia, genital pain.
• Irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, leukorrhea.

Reed Rhizome (Lu Gen)

• Clears heat, generates fluids - heat patterns with high fever, irritability, thirst.
• Clears lung heat - cough, thick yellow sputum.
• Clears stomach heat - vomiting, belching.
• Clears heat, diuretic - dark, scanty urine, xue lin, accompanied by thirst and irritability.
• Encourages rashes to the surface - for febrile disease with rashes that are incompletely expressed.

Astragalus and Cinnamon Twig Five Herb Decoction (Huang Qi Gui Zhi Wu Wu Wan)

• Common with blood deficient patterns for dispersing interior cold, xue bi, (blood painful obstruction), generally manifesting as numbness of the extremities.  With the appropriate underlying patterns - shoulder pain, neck pain, knee pain.
• Diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, polyneuropathy, conditions such as raynaud's with the right underlying factors, frostbite.
• Facial paralysis, post-stroke recovery.
• Restless leg syndrome.
• Certain cardiovascular issues, heart disease.
