At our core we are a Chinese Medicine informational website. We are also working towards building and supporting the larger Chinese Medicine community. In addition to freely sharing a broad array of foundational and modern Chinese Medicine theories, research and applications, we aim to connect Chinese Medicine practitioners with each other along with their respective schools and state associations.

• S1 influences the ureter and is used along with S2 and S3 for a range of menstrual issues, fertility issues, PMS, etc.  May be useful for low back pain.
• Used  extensively within the Tam Healing System and Tong Ren Therapy. May be needled and used with tuina and/or tonren therapy.

Solomon's Seal Rhizome, Polygonatum (Yu Zhu)

• Nourish yin, moisten dryness - lung and stomach dry heat or yin deficiency patterns with cough, dry throat, thirst, irritability, steaming bone disorder, xiao ke, excess hunger, constipation.
• Clear wind, softens and moistens the sinews - wind generated by insufficient fluids, leading to pain and spasms in the sinews, dizziness from yin deficiency and internal movement of wind.
• Also useful for wind-heat in yin deficient constitution (not cloying herb).

Mantis Egg Case Powder (Sang Piao Xiao Wan)

• Frequent urination, possibly incontinent from weakness in the heart and kidney systems.  Pang Guang Shi Yue (bladder losing restraint).
• Other kidney deficiency signs possible such as spermatorrhea, forgetfulness, fatigue, constipation...
• Bedwetting in children when it is from deficiency - and often associated with "kidney" issues such as fear.
