What Is The Yin Yang House?
At our core we are a Chinese Medicine informational website. We are also working towards building and supporting the larger Chinese Medicine community. In addition to freely sharing a broad array of foundational and modern Chinese Medicine theories, research and applications, we aim to connect Chinese Medicine practitioners with each other along with their respective schools and state associations.

Use our main menu or search tool and follow the links to explore Chinese Medicine from whatever angle you are coming from (generally interested, a student, or a practitioner). Much of the content is categorized by issues/symptoms or by Chinese Medicine diagnostic patterns.

- Both SI 16 & SI 17 are Window of the Sky Points and are useful for throat distention, swelling, goiters, lumps in neck a/or throat.
- Chest oppression, wheezing, cough, asthma.
- Ear issues - tinnitus, deafness.
- Tong Ren/Tam Healing System: Used to effect the circulation to the brain, and the facial nerves. Useful for facial issues such as TMJ, gum problems, etc. Also used with headaches, hearing issues, dizziness and/or high blood pressure.

TCM Herb of the Day
- Tonify kidneys, strengthen yang - reproductive and urinary disorders such as impotence, spermatorrhea, urinary incontinence, posturinary dripping, cold pains in lower back and knees.
- Warms womb - infertility, excessive uterine bleeding, leukorrhea from cold deficiency.
- Moistens instestines - constipation, good for elderly or younger patients with blood and/or qi deficiency.
TCM Formula of the Day
Heat at night (nightsweats, sensation of heat) with a sensation of coolness in the early morning/upon waking, no effect on appetite.
Pulse will be fine and rapid and the Tongue will be red with little coating.
